The contact lens industry is constantly changing. We are proud to provide a full range of contact lenses, materials, services and solutions that keep up with today's technological advances and improvements.

Here are a few tips for handling and wearing contact lenses:

-Wash your hand thoroughly. You don’t want to infect your eyes with bacteria that may be on your hands.

-Make sure to clean lenses based on what Dr. Sikorski recommended to you.

-Keep your storage kit clean. It can acquire bacteria easily.

-Unless your lenses are 24 hour lenses, try not to sleep with your contact lenses in your eyes. This will shorten the life of your lenses, and potentially harm your eyes.

-Do not wear your contacts while you have an eye infection, unless the Doctor has “okayed” the use of contacts while your eye is healing.

-Because Colorado is dry, make sure your eye is well lubricated prior to taking your contacts out. Try adding a drop or to of saline solution to your eyes before you take them out. This simple step can help save your eye, and this can make taking your contacts out easier.

-Make sure to not wear your contacts longer than the lens is supposed to be worn, ie. a monthly lens should be worn for one month. Your eyes natural proteins build up on the lenses. The build up can affect the way you see, and the lens will feel more uncomfortable in your eye.
